Dr Stephen Bassett
BSc MB BCh MRCGP MCIArb FRSM FSALS, UK
Dr Bassett graduated from University of Wales College of Medicine in 1992 after taking a First Class Honours Pharmacology degree, his research examining the pharmacology of dyschromias.
After a decade in emergency medicine and primary care, Dr Bassett established ShapeCYMRU (“the shape of Wales”) in 2006, and has developed a portfolio of body contouring technologies unique to Wales. Dr Bassett is exploring the evolving and expanding application of radiofrequency technology in aesthetic medicine.
Dr Bassett is a Hammicks Prize winning barrister of Lincoln’s Inn, Fellow of the Society of Advanced Legal Studies, and regularly speaks and writes on the interactions between law, medicine and psychology, and their application to the aesthetic market.
