Mr Shailesh Vadodaria

Mr. Vadodaria is a British trained Consultant Plastic Surgeon who is on Specialist Register of General Medical Council.
He has had extensive training in plastic surgery in United Kingdom. He completed his higher surgical training in plastic surgery , in units accredited by the British Association of Plastic Surgeons and awarded FRCS (Plastic Surgery) He also had advanced cosmetic surgery training in Sweden, Germany and Belgium.

Mr. Vadodaria has presented more than 50 papers in the national and international plastic surgical congresses. He has innovated new instruments, simulators and plastic surgical techniques which are published in peer reviewed plastic surgery journals. Mr. Vadodaria was invited in the recent past as a faculty in International Plastic Surgery Meetings in Sweden, Germany,Greece and Spain.

Mr. Vadodaria has worked as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the St. George’s NHS Hospital, London and as an Honorary Lecturer in the division of Surgery at the Sheffield University. During that time he was involved in teaching the medical students and training the plastic surgery trainees. Mr. Vadodaria left the National Health Service in 2007 and established his own private practice in order to focus on his interest in Cosmetic Surgery.

Mr. Vadodaria is a Lecturer at the Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery and Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He is a visiting Consultant Plastic Surgeon at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Clydebank. He is specialized in body contouring procedures like breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, abdominal reduction, liposuction, correction of male breast (gyancomastia),

Mr. Vadodaria pioneered a cleft lip and palate project in rural part of Rajasthan at India in 2002. He visits India for treating cleft lip and palate children twice in year for the last 5 years. He also visited Dhaka Medical College, Bangladesh in November, 2007 to train the local plastic surgery trainees and provide services in the plastic surgery department as part of Australian Interplast group

Mr. Vadodaria recently appeared in the TV serial entitled ‘Embarrassing bodies’ in Channel 4 where he demonstrated the surgical procedure for correction of male breast.Mr.Vadodaria is also filmed for a documentary entitlted ‘Recent trend of Plastic Surgery in Ethnic Minority' in U.K for Channel 4. .

Mr. Vadodaria has also been radio interviewed for giving well rounded information to the general public regarding liposuction procedure. Mr. Vadodaria was invited for the demonstration of liposuction surgery for an education documentary production by Reuters – international media agency. Mr.Vadodaria is recognised as one of the leaders in body contouring and liposuction.
